Michael Richard McculloughMr. McCullough began his teaching career in 1996 at Aldine ISD. He shares the district’s vision of the orchestra strings program in the magnet school program. For the past seventeen years, he has taught violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar and piano, preparing Carver music students for UIL competitions at the district and state levels.  Additionally, he prepares students to participate in various theatrical, dance, and performing art productions throughout the school year.


Mr. McCullough completed his college education at The University of Texas in Austin and Sam Houston State University.  He holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with Instrumental Emphasis, a Master’s Degree in Education in Administration, completed all coursework for an Educational Doctorate of Education short of completing his dissertation from Sam Houston State University.

He holds an Honors recognition and Doctoral Scholarship in Educational Leadership.
