Mariachi students participated this past weekend in the Mariachi Region contest including all regions in Houston Tx with mariachi programs. This is the most competitive contest since all regions students are auditioning for a spot in the Houston mariachi Philharmonico and Sinfonico ensembles.

Total violins audition: 37 students from all Houston Regions districts.
Anamaria placed 14th violin overall. She will be part of Philharmonico mariachi and represent Aldine ISD Region 33 Carver Mariachi program.
