G.W. Carver Magnet High School 2025/2026 Accolades
Throughout the 2025–2026 school year, G.W. Carver Magnet High School, under the leadership of Principal Williams, achieved a prestigious “A” rating from the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
For the third consecutive year, Carver has also been recognized by Magnet Schools of America. This year, we are especially proud to announce that Carver has advanced from a School of Distinction to a School of Excellence—a remarkable achievement that reflects the dedication, excellence, and commitment of our students, faculty, staff, and leadership. Carver was Awarded District academic Champion for the second consecutive year.
Carver Graduating Class of 2026
The George Washington Carver High School Class of 2026, comprised of 148 graduating seniors, successfully completed their high school journey with extraordinary accomplishments and a strong foundation for their futures:
- 100% of graduates met the standards for College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR).
- 99% completed their college applications, positioning themselves to take their talents and aspirations to the next level.
- Students successfully balanced rigorous academics with their artistic pursuits, collectively completing 2,412 dual-credit college hours and earning 70 industry certifications.
- Two graduates will attend Ivy League universities, while 14 graduates will attend selective and highly selective universities across the country.
- Through their dedication to academic excellence and their individual crafts, members of the Class of 2026 were collectively offered an extraordinary $60,306,316 in scholarships.
The accomplishments of the Class of 2026 are a testament to the power of excellence, perseverance, creativity, and opportunity. We celebrate these remarkable students and look forward to seeing the impact they will make as they take their next steps into college, careers, the military, and beyond.
