Our esteemed student, Ka’Sean Francis, had the incredible privilege of traveling to Washington, D.C., to celebrate our amazing Superintendent, Dr. Latonya Goffney, as she assumed the role of President of the AASA, The School Superintendents Association, representing and leading superintendents from across the nation.
During this special occasion, Ka’Sean was invited to speak on behalf of Dr. Goffney, sharing his personal journey as an Aldine ISD graduate and now a proud Product of Aldine. His testimony highlighted the impact Aldine ISD has had on his life and the opportunities it has provided him.

While in Washington, D.C., Ka’Sean also had the opportunity to explore the city’s historic landmarks and monuments through a partnership with Close Up Foundation. The program gave students valuable insight into our nation’s government, politics, history, and civic engagement, creating an unforgettable educational experience.
Ka’Sean has truly been on fire this year. After traveling to Indiana to represent Texas at the International Thespian Festival, he then traveled to Washington, D.C., to proudly represent Aldine ISD. His continued success and willingness to lead by example reflect the resilience, excellence, and grace that define our program. Ka’Sean is a shining example of what it means to be an Aldine ISD student, and we are incredibly proud of all that he has accomplished and the bright future that lies ahead.
