At the August 18, 2026, Aldine ISD Board Meeting, students Johnny Kelly and Allen Hampton were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the district and their positive impact on the community. Both students were celebrated for their exceptional performances and for serving as student hosts for the Aldine Independent School District Convocation, held on August 10, 2026.
In addition to the student recognitions, Carver students had the opportunity to showcase their talents through a special performance for the Aldine ISD Board of Trustees, Executive Leadership Team, and community members in attendance. Among the featured student performers were Dakaria Smith and David Gipson.
The evening was another proud moment highlighting the talent, leadership, professionalism, and artistic excellence of G.W. Carver Magnet High School students and their continued impact throughout Aldine ISD.
