Aldine’s Annual Rodeo Awards Show is Friday, January 23 at the MOC and 30 of our very own Carver Panthers artwork will be on display!
A special congratulations to Ariel Flores- her artwork has been awarded a Special Merit Award and will be featured in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo exhibition. In the high school division, our district received six Special Merit Awards, in addition to Best of Show and Gold Medal honors. This is the highest number of Special Merit awards our district has ever received. The Art Committee provided very positive feedback on the 55 artworks submitted for judging, and Ariel’s artwork is among the 13 selected pieces that now have the opportunity to be considered for auction.

I am also excited to announce that Fernanda Fernandez’s artwork has been selected for the Youth Art Month exhibition and will be honored and displayed at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin. Additional information regarding the ceremony will be shared as it becomes available
