The Carver Speech and Debate Team, led by former Teacher of the Year (2019) and HAABSE Teacher of the Year (2025), Mr. Cobb, has been crowned District Champions for the second consecutive year—marking the fifth district title during his tenure.
Recently, two students, Dai Smith and Treveon Bazile, represented Carver at the State Cross-Examination (CX) Debate competition. They stepped in following the district competition, where Nathan Rodriguez and Dai Smith earned a second-place finish in CX Debate.

Poetry Interpretation: Meagan Royal-Andrus 6th
